Yes, Chiropractic is suitable for almost anyone at any age, and many people can benefit from specific Neuro-Structural Chiropractic Care that focuses on analyzing the spine closely before adjusting any misalignments. This type of care focuses primarily on the relationship between the nervous system and the body's structural components, like the spine and musculoskeletal system.
Chiropractors often concentrate on addressing neuro-structural imbalances to help patients achieve optimal health and well-being. These imbalances can cause pain, discomfort, poor posture, dysfunctional movement, and other health issues, as the nervous system plays a crucial role in controlling and coordinating the body's functions. By correcting structural misalignments, chiropractors can help improve the function of the nervous system and promote overall wellness.

Everyone is different in the length of their needs of chiropractic care. The biggest variables include your reasons for care, the severity of your concerns, the length of time you have been dealing with the concerns, and how committed you are to helping in your healing journey. While we can’t know for certain what your needs will be until we meet you, we can say that many people benefit from at least 12-24 visits of care over a 1-4 month period.

You are under no obligation to continue your care with us, or anyone else, if you don’t want to. Many people, once they have gone through their initial healing journey, enjoy coming back for regular wellness visits - not because they’re in any pain, or because they have, but because they know their body feels and functions better when their nervous system is free and clear of any interference.

Not only can babies get adjusted, they usually respond quickly to chiropractic care because they don’t have years of built-up stress and tension on their bodies. Chiropractic care is incredibly safe and effective for infants and young children with a variety of concerns. An adjustment for a baby looks incredibly different than that of an adult, and the pressure it takes to adjust a baby is usually about the same pressure you would use to check the ripeness of a tomato. We recommend that you find a chiropractor who has focused their studies on working with the pediatric population, such as by getting CACCP or DACCP-certified throught the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). If you would like to learn more about getting your child’s nervous system checked, click HERE. If you are looking for a Pediatric-certified doctor in your area, we recommend using the ICPA resource center HERE.

Your Report of Findings is the discovery process of your health journey. It is your second visit in our office where we review the results of your initial exam and talk about recommendations for care. You may also be recommended certain exercises, nutritional support, or to consult with other practitioners at this visit. We highly recommend bringing a friend or family member with you so that all of your questions can be answered.
-
Your Re-examination is your opportunity to see your progress through your chiropractic journey. We will re-check your neurological scans, physical testing, and answer any questions you have about your health. This is our opportunity to fine tune your recommendations, such as through changes in your frequency of care, new exercises or nutritional support.
