What to expect from Leto Chiropractic for your ICBC injury?
With valid ICBC claims, you're pre-approved for treatments within the first 12 weeks post-accident. We recommend beginning your care promptly to support your healing process. No additional approval is needed to initiate care with us if your claim is within this 12-week timeframe..
If you have surpassed the initial 12-week period, our team will contact ICBC for approval before beginning your treatment. You may opt to initiate care while awaiting confirmation from ICBC; however, if they deny coverage, you might be responsible for paying some or all treatment costs.
Our staff will monitor your case and, if necessary, request extended care coverage for you.
Can Leto Chiropractic directly bill ICBC?
Yes. In order to directly bill ICBC, we require the following information before your appointment:
Your ICBC Claim Number
The Date of your Accident
If Applicable: Your Adjustor’s Name and Contact Number - not everyone will have this information, and is typically only needed if you are past your initial 12 weeks since your injury.
Please note that our ICBC direct billing service is a courtesy and not a guarantee that all direct billings will be approved or paid by ICBC.
You are responsible for paying any unpaid services by ICBC should direct billing issues arise.
How much does ICBC cover?
If you have an active case with ICBC, within 12-weeks of the accident, or have been approved for additional care following your active period, you can expect ICBC to cover the cost of your initial exam, plus a series of visits following your initial exam.
The exact number of visits will be discussed with you in your Report of Findings (Visit 2), as there are a number of variables which may impact your total coverage.
If you cancel an appointment past our cancellation window, or fail to show up for your appointment, you will be responsible for the appointment fees missed.
If you choose to purchase any products or equipment from us outside of your ICBC case, you will also be responsible for these costs.
